Answer for question 4240.
Feb. 17th, 2015 06:20 am[Error: unknown template qotd]Man, this is actually kind of tough. Well, the last straight-up movie I saw was Into the Woods. I enjoyed it, but felt it strayed too far from its source material for me to recommend it. Also, not a fan of what they did with the witch's arc. In conclusion, not a great movie.
So I thought to myself, what movie did I see before that, Manhunter? The Hannibal Lector movie before they made Silence of the Lambs. I absolutely loved it, as a piece of 80's cheese and a no-foolin' great movie, but that was back in July, right? There had to be a movie I saw after that. (Should still be on Netflix, btw, in case you want to watch it.)
Then, a post here jarred my memory. Guardians of the Galaxy! A perfect antidote to gloomy action movies. So that's my final answer. Yes, I know, I've gone a little far afield and described three movies when only one would do, but at least I'm not all "Oh, what is this 'film' you speak of? I only watch MOVIES."
YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, I'M CALLING YOU MOTHERS OUT
